The Food Groups

Food groups. All countries have different versions of this but most split healthy foods into 4 or 5 groups. These groups are fruits/vegetables , grains, proteins foods and dairy. These food groups all contain different types of nutrition like protein, fibers calcium and more. This is why when you eat a meal, it's recommended that you eat foods from all 5 of these groups so you can get different types of nutrition from each. This is one of the key components to getting a healthy body because when you eat all of these foods, your body will have the nutrition it needs to function properly.
